    The date was end of 2012 at NAB and as as this is top of recon
    I think we can safet deduce that they dont want to give any more
    Heads up to the industry they will be disrupting - :)

    Well, only RED knows for sure but the 4K battle royale seems to have been postponed given the lack of economic motivation and no h.265 codec to drive a 4K disc-based format. Given RED's past actions, they will probably not show their pimp-hand until at least Sony/Panasonic make their 4K LED hook-up efforts public and that probably won't be until 2014.

    Will buy one as it launches under 10K is a very Good pricing for the kind of the projector RED will be launching. Way to go Red Digital Cinema!

    Gathering all the info, we'll see the actual projector early 2014.
