    Yeah, affordable media. This is wonderful news.

    I hope eventually that lower speed media will trickle into the higher capacity cards as well...

    This is really awesome too see red accommodating both Epic & Scarlet owners. The 32gb cards could be really useful for a firmware backup in your kit!

    As a "budget conscious" new Scarlet owner I'm interested to see how cheaper these cards will be. Having dropped almost $2k on two 64GB cards that I may not be using to their full potential, I would rather sell them and reinvest some money into batteries etc.

    Yeah, I am considering Scarlets as B cams for live events and the main thing stopping me is the cost of the media. The 32GB affordable media is definitely a step in the right direction but it is kinda restrictive in size. Having an alternative all the way through the range would be amazing.

    hope 32GB SSD is around 200$ :) last time i checked 128GB SSD was (which is toshiba THNSNC128GMMJ) 250$ on aliexpress.
    Jarred which brand ssd in 512GB one?

    You can always lower the data rate via frame rates or compression ratios to match the media.
