I have to admit, I went into NAB this week unsure how I felt about my Scarlet purchase (yes, I admit it... blasphemy, I know).
It was never a question of whether or not the camera was worth the money, or whether it was a great camera... it was a question of whether or not it was right for me.
After spending all week seeing what every other company was offering, where they were going, and hearing what they had to say - I've never felt better about putting my money on RED.
Don't get me wrong, there are actually some good products out there - I'm not about to claim that no other company knows what they're doing.
But no other company seems to 'get it' the way RED does... that was obvious this past week.
And no other company seems to be heading in a direction I want to go. Now I'm glad I got on board when I did.
Anyhow - a bit off topic for this thread.
Back to the speculation train....
