Apparently it's already backordered or not yet available in Red UK...

Quick question (sorry for bumping an old thread but I didn't want to start a new one): Are there any issues with using dummy Nikkor-to-EOS adapter rings with the RED Canon EOS mount? I know I won't get autofocus, metadata, iris control, etc., but I want to know if using dummy adapter rings will cause the mount to trip out or cause damage or anything?

Assuming there are no issues, does Confirm (when the spot or centre box turns green when focus is achieved) still work with a dummy adapted lens?

Hi Mike, we have been using the $19 Fotodiox dumb adapters and they work great!

Thanks Justin! That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. Guess you don't know about focus Confirm, huh?
