Redcine idea- speculative debayer?

Just an idea...

Suppose you are done your rough cut. Could you send a preliminary EDL to Redcine to start debayering the 4K RAW? (Assuming that the debayering process will be slow.) And then once the fine cut is completed, a final EDL issend to Redcine. It then debayers anything it didn't get the first time around.

Having a slow, very high quality de-bayer may not be so bad if you do most of it ahead of time??

Thanks for the suggestion Glenn. I guess this really comes down to how we handle the RPL.
