Would you install this the same way you do in a tower?

It was so cool to see this thing just work. Plug it in to a MacBook Air and you have super mobile realtime 4k. Love the low profile design too.

I was reading this, I think originally on Magma site:
"There is an interoperability issue with MacOS using graphics (GPU) cards externally through Thunderbolt. Unfortunately, external graphics solutions for MacOS X do not work and we do not expect a resolution from Apple in the short term".
I'm new to PCI and Thunderbolt buses/connections.

    -Redrocket+2009 4 core Macpro

Anybody can tell me how would be different the performance of a Redrocket in those 2 options (% slower)?
    Thanks

Exactly what I've been looking for. Reserved.

Alvise, I did also read on the Magma site about the lack of support for external graphics cards via Thunderbolt on Mac. I'm assuming that this is not an issue, as at this time, the internal/onboard graphics card on a MacBook will still be the primary graphics card, with the external Rocket via mLINK R (via TB) being utilised for its GPU processing (and HD-SDI out), in whatever application supports that. RCX as per the video is a great start.
