Thank you Bill, I also tried this lens and had the same failure, no variation of the iris above a certain setting (not sure which number on this lens), it seems my mount is closing the iris too early. Everybody else´s working fine?

Just got my Nikon mount, and my epic for that matter and have been very pleased so far. I have one lens that i'm trying to figure out however. I have an AF Nikkor 20-35 2.8. It has a Manual Iris gear but can be controlled through camera. When I put the lens on the nikon mount, the iris reacts with a buzz, and the focal length is even recognized. I can manually focus and focus distance and focal length show in camera, however for the life of my I can't change the aperature. Moving the ring does nothing and exposure box is grayed out. This is the only AF lens that I have been able to test, all of my older AIS lenses work great. I'm new to the whole system so I'm thinking there may be something I'm missing.
