Jarred, I know its a taboo subject--but due to lack of actual answers I've been able to find, can you tell us what is in the Future of R1, Any firmware fixes to make her even better and is it officially EOL for hardware?
Ill take anything--except other people hypothesis.

R1 will get a firmware update to add RC3/RG3 soon. We love the R1.. it is what started this all.

Just a reminder.. the next build in a couple weeks that adds this to the camera is our first official paid firmware upgrade, we will sell the download for $1400 or you can buy a hardcopy version on a limited special edition DVD for $1500.

The next camera build adds support for RGB curves in camera.. and in camera modification of those curves :)

normal RealD glasses will work.. you just get some ghosting that you have all seen before. The best glasses are ones that are matched to the screen and the projector, and there will be ones matched to the REDray Laser projector in disposable, cheap, and expensive version.

So I'm betting the expensive 3D glasses will look like Oakleys? God I hope they do.
