may this be the worst problem!

Got my BOMB OLED EVF today and can truly say it now lives up to the name BOMB, because it is the bomb. Definitely the best EVF I've ever seen... BEST. EVER. Great job, Red!

I got asked by someone else what's up with me using the Spinner+RED Arm, as shown in the photos. Obviously you can bolt the BOMB directly onto the RED Arm (without the Spinner), so what the heck am I doing? Before picking up the OLED EVF, I was using a Swat Rail setup connected to the Tactical Rib mount. I would switch between the Touch LCD, mounted at eye level when using the shoulder Gunner (preferred sight). I would rarely/occasionally invoke the EVF when I needed to spot focus, by doing a quick swap. Eventually I got tired of juggling the monitor and the EVF, so I bolted an Arm on the top of the Epic and kept the EVF floating there, still on the Spinner mount if I needed to lose the Touch, Arm, etc for weight.

With the much improved OLED, now I use the Spinner+Swat Rail combination, mounted at eye level, hanging off the Tactical Rib (left-side).

Just in case anyone else was wondering. ;)

This is an exciting breakthrough indeed and I'm very greatfull to Red for th upgrade facility.
One of the issues I had with my old bomb was image tearing and judder regardless of shutter speed. Can anyone confirm this area has had improved upon?

ordered and paid via wire transfer the new bomb evf / oled on april 18th.

ironically on the red homepage is written: In Stock. Usually ships within 3-5 business days.

let´s see how many weeks it takes to get it delivered.
it´s a fact, that the 3-5 business days are not true.

    amen.

It strikes me funny when people say "NEW" EVF. I thought I had a new EVF. It's 6 months old and I waited a year for it to be delivered (perfected).

I guess it's obsolete. But how can that be? :)
