    That was fast.

Actually the last mail I received was somewhere in November '11 and before that August '10.
and countless messages on your community, before it was closed.

I'm still interested, and I surely will drop you a mail :)

Don't know what the quality of this product is... the only bad reviews I've heard is that other manufacturers wireless follow focus were working at NAB 2012 and the REDrock had to be tethered. Here's a video in which it was demoed as tethered. Would love to test it out for myself and see what the wireless is like compared to say a Bartech.

@andrae we were showing it in wireless mode both days at Cinegear. Performed great. I think there are some reduser members who had a chance to check it out there as well.

    Cheers

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for your timely post. Are the specs for the transmitter available? Also can the transmitter select Sub-channels? If so what frequency range?

Have the first units shipped? Even a ballpark timeline or understanding of where we are in the queue would be helpful.

@Andrea 2.4ghz radio, 16 sub-channel select. I don't have the specs of those freq ranges but yes, you are thinking the right way about this

@Tim yes we are shipping, slowly, but shipping.

@Ryan we should have an update soon. The last few deliveries have gone really well so I think next week we'll be speeding up deliveries. You are local to our LA location right?

We tested and confirmed interoperability with Preston motors (and also Torque motors with Preston fiz unit). Also we added a couple new features: auto torque, which intelligently sets the torque for each lens so that they perform smoothly and consistently, and a fine tune manual override so you can choose the feel and responsiveness of the unit.

    Thanks Brian

Yeah I'm in San Diego so pretty close...
just under 3 weeks till production starts on my new short...was really hoping to have this by then as we have some complicated crane / moco shots..and as discussed with Loren will be able to do lots of BTS/review type stuff.
Of course then Rachel will be sad that I don't bug her on a weekly basis once I get it :)
