WHY didn't I think of that?! Great idea, inexpensive, and tiny footprint. Gonna have to order... Thx!

I assisted a photographer who had something like this that Lowel made back in the '70s. We loved them. Cool thing is you can just set them on the ground and they stand up at an angle.

    Love it.
Wish I'd seen them at NAB.
    Nice find, Shane.

If I'm reading their site correctly, it's 189 for BOTH the silver and white reflector?
At that price, I have to wonder how sturdy these are.

Did you get hands on with them, Shane?
How do you think they'd fair outdoors with a bit of a breeze?

I ordered a set, I'll let you know when they come in and you can play with them. Best part of all, they also work as a sunshade for those Texas summers.

    Deal.

I just edited my post... but reading yours I assume you got to test them out.
189 with free shipping is too tempting... I may just get a set myself.
If not, I'm definitely taking you up on your offer - we need to get together anyhow.
I want to check out your rig that I'm always eyeing in those pics you post.

(everyone knows we're talking about camera gear, right?)

    Exactly.
Was talking with a friend the other day telling him we all need to get together and agree to have a 'summer rate' and a 'winter rate' here.
    Texas summers deserve hazzard pay.

    :)
