  1. #1 Error loading preset
    Ok, I tried to find a solution here first, but the board blocks the search when using this exact phrase, different variations weren't a success either.

    Here's the issue — I want to do a basic export to ProRes.

    The moment I press "Export" the dialogue settings window appears (as it should) but at the same moment I instantly get the "error loading preset" message in status tab.

    No matter what settings I adjust in the dialog window nothing would appear in the Export tab, and I can't press the "Render" button, cause there's nothing there.

    All I get is a line of "error loading preset" messages.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Can you save a copy of the preset you are trying to use and send it to redcinex at red dot com
    (Right click on preset and choose save preset)
    It would also be helpful if you can send a saved report (help menu -> Save Report)

    Matthew, I don't even chose a preset, all I do is

    File -> Export

    The moment I press Export the settings window appears and I instantly get an "error loading preset" in Status tab.

    I should also note that in the settings window the "Preset:" line (the one under "Export:") is empty, and I can't choose anything there, it's non functional.

    I will send a saved report as you suggested.

    It sounds like you have to setup your export preset then. That is configured in the "Export" section of RCX in the Export tab at bottom area of the RCX window.

    Ok, now I feel stupid for not figuring it out myself :)

    Thanks, Matthew.
