Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a material for netting off a window that will bring it down a few stops and move it towards tungsten light balance. Like a fine gold netting or something. Maybe 15' x 20' in size?
Does something like this exist?

Why netting? Will gel not work for you for some reason?
you can buy single and double netting as yardage at most mathews equipment dealers.. you need gell to correct color balance.. you can buy Rosco and Lee combination ND and 85 if I remember correctly...
You can attach rolls of gel on a window simply by wetting the window or gel first, and it will stick.
If you really want net, the material is called bobbinet.
You might try some Rosco Scrim. Works a charm. Then add some 85 behind it.
thats what hdrx is for...the new improved netting..and bring your interior lights to blue and tadaaa its warmer outside
I was just wondering if there was a net that could do both in one swoop. Just seems like it would be a real sweet deal, no cutting no fuss, but it looks like there isn't anything out there is there.
IIRC, there ar some rental houses which have "hard" gells... like giant filters in pre made sizes for window.. contact your local grip house..
They make ND.3 .6 and .9 /CTO Gels.
Cuts + Converts to tungsten
Cinegel #3405: Roscosun 85N3http://www.rosco.com/us/filters/cine...displayType=13
Combines the effect of the 85 and N.3 filters. Extra-wide 60 in. Optically clear. (Transmission = 33%).
