I am trying my best to make the post workflow on my current project smooth and easy. Unfortunately the file names we're not correctly named. Instead of starting with A001 and going from there, they're all over the place. There are multiple A011's, A022's etc, etc ...

We are doing an offline edit, with a 'Baselight' color correction, 'Pro Tools' for audio and 'Flame' for the SPFX. Please let me know if you have any suggestions so I can avoid the coming nightmare. Thank you!

Monkey Extract can be used to rename reels. I highly recommend doing this before even trying to perform any edits...

Thanks! I will try this out. I am worried about changing the reel names. I have been told to avoid it at all costs... but it seems like the only solution.

If in doubt, make a copy of the rushes, and then only change the copies until you're sure you've got it working OK.
