I have a few thousand set aside mentally for inevitable Red RMD... as I've read here, and heard from friends, the atmospheric price of digital cinema repair.

Word of warning! The other day, a screw from my WC QuickBack fell into the Anton Bauer battery plate. Fell right between the positive and negative terminals running power to the camera. Could've shorted everything and bricked my Scarlet--none of which would be covered under Red's "3rd party power, go figure" policy. (A totally understandable policy... I'm using two other companies to power it why should Red be responsible!)

In the words of the AB phone rep..... "if the camera starts, the bullet was dodged." I got lucky. Folks, check your quick back internal screws....
