just ordered an accessory from x to be sent to Belgium; the parcel stayed over 12 days at the custom office; i will never ever use USPS again, only the conventional ones. Better pay 50 bucks more than living such a nightmare again.

    just a thought anyway, cheers

No problems here so far. We received several shipments from the states to Germany through USPS. The parcels usually shipped within very few days to the destination custom office but than it took several days to pop up again...may be you had bad luck, we are having some trouble right now with a damage through UPS - shit happens.

    Cheers, Ulf

UPS is another company on my black list, right next to DHL; best so far is FEDEX in my opinion, at least for me.

NEVER will I ship anything again using USPS services, they have lost several packages of International shipping which costed me some serious Dollars in replacements!!

    Its FEDEX for me.

For smaller value items I use USPS all the time and have yet to lose a package.

For more expensive gear I am using a shipping service that goes directly from the US to Norway. Much cheaper than the other agencies.

I have shipped 35mm Film cameras, Cooke 20-100 , Cooke 20-60, Ziess Superspeeds by USPS with no problems. It's important to have correct customs documentation..

USPS have never lost anything for me - But they do seem to take ages clearing UK customs. Not sure if that is the fault of USPS or Parcel Force.

I usually budget a months worth of time.

If you pay for EMS it's way quicker.

They all f…k up from time to time. Fedex shipped our Red One from UK to China instead of Germany after the audio board exchange…
