If you were interested in making an adapter to use the grid 5.0 on a smallhd dp6, the dimensions are as follows:

8cm x 12.5 cm are the inside dimensions of the bezel on the dp6. The bezel is 1cm thick vertically and 1.5cm thick horizontally. It is very slightly rounded.

I'm not sure if this is a perfect fit as the small HD screen is 1cm bigger around in each dimension than the Red touchscreen so you would be cropping .5 centimeters on each side if you mount it flat.

There may be a clever solution but you'd probably have to have a dp6 in your hands to work it out.

I do wish it would work though because the resolution difference is quite noticeable when a viewfinder is on it.

once again thanks for a great product.

    Hey Nicholas

Your viewfinder arrived late last week, no problems great product. Far more viable than a lot of EVF solutions. I was searching around for one but not any longer. I reckon the only other things your product needs is back cover for the veiwfinder when unmounted & maybe some arri style eyepiece covers.

    I like this product a lot !!!

Thanks regards from Australia . Mike

    Hey Nick,

I did not receive any e-mail notice as I signed up to be notified when the product is ready to ship.

Want to know how can I buy one.

    Thank you.

    hi Mike,
let me see if i understand correctly ...
the back cover for the veiwfinder When unmounted, means a cover to not get dust in the viewfinder when unplugged ..? great idea!
    I'll try to create a cover ...
but as to the eyepiece, I had already thought of that, I'm trying to develop one of these, but is not so simple as it seems, was trying to create a chamois leather, leather and rubber, but now I'm trying with neoprene ... let's see ...

    @ Nicholas

Yes that's what I meant. Save dust from getting on the inside of the eyepiece when in storage or transit, which being down the enclosed end would be hard to get at & clean.

Finally I got to test mine and I have to say I am extremely pleased, I simply can not afford the Bomb EVF just yet, and this is definitely a very good piece of gear to assist when operating and focusing at the same time. Thank you Nicholas!
