  1. #1 REDuser MACGREGOR in Variety - "Warner Bros. buys 'Law Zero' pitch"
I'm posting this in SHOT ON RED since I happen to know there is a lot of RED footage in the teaser trailer - currently secret though, I think :)

REDusers probably know Mac from his brilliant RED cinematography for Ruairi Robinson's Blinky and Imaginary Forces... or Zac&Mac's fantastic short film Similo back in the DVXuser days...

Anyway, nice to see super-talented folks pushing ahead. Inspiring!

Warner Bros. buys 'Law Zero' pitch
Futuristic actioner acquired from Bruno Zacarias and Miguel de Olaso

Warner Bros. has pre-emptively acquired a futuristic action pitch titled "Law Zero" from Bruno Zacarias and Miguel "Macgregor" de Olaso, who make films under the name Zac&Mac. Roy Lee is set to produce the project.

Pitch, which included a teaser trailer and outline, is the first the directing duo have sold, and plot details remain under wraps.

Macgregor is a former cinematographer and post-supervisor, which Zacarias is an ex-advertising copywriter who segued into screenwriting and then directing.

Duo met seven years and have since made several short films together, including "Similo," a sci-fi romance about an artificial person designed to be the perfect lover. Other shorts such as "18 Seconds" and "UYUNI" have won more than 30 awards on the film festival circuit.

Zacarias and Macgregor are repped by UTA and Mosaic.
    Congrats Mac!

Big congrats to Zac and Mac! If nothing came of your hard work I was going to lose faith in civilization or at least the film industry. ;)
