Does anyone here have experience with Habey RAID enclosures? The following DS-1530C enclosure will hold 15 3Gbps SAS/SATA drives, may be attached by up to 2 mini-SAS connectors from the host, and can expand to additional enclosures via 2 more connectors. I'm wondering how well this enclosure would hold up in a RAID-6 config for working with R3D footage for editorial. It's available for $999 from Newegg.

    Thanks,

Nothing special there. Industry standard design but Habey isn't really a market player on US soil as their products are not widely available or bought outside of their little chassis for HTPC/Server use (They suck ass by the way), so you won't find anyone who has experience with their products outside of those.

Any recommendations on rackmount RAID solutions for Windows 7 workstations? Thanks.
