    Hi

If I set clips to import with clip settings in resolve, they used to collect metadata from the rmd's and everything used to be fine.

Now this seems to be kind of random...

    Any suggestions?

The RMDs are read when you add the clip to the media pool.

Yes, but they don't perform right...

Adding to pool through XML, BTW

Cannot check "color" in the conform window.

Seems like they sometimes are added...

But shouldn't the clip default to RMD when I check "clip" in on a clip from the pool?

That's how it used to work...

Gunleik anytime you load a clip into Resolve, that is the last RMD that project will ever read. You cannot change them, say, in RCX, and then expect them to be different when you re-load in Resolve. I don't like that it is this way, there should at least be a "refresh RMD" button like in Premiere, but there is not.

    Maybe that answers your question...

    Could be the answer...

But the behaviour is still a bit strange. Working on a new episode now, wil experiment a bit with that when it's ready... Had to set up a projectsetting for the lastone... Pitty.

BUT, how do I ensure that the RMDs are read properly. In my simple mind, this has "just worked" earlier on...
