how is it powered? I thought phantom power was not enabled?
I'm using firmware 3.0.0 (no phantom power enabled on this build) so it doesn't need phantom power to work. No battery power needed. It just works! =)
Ordered. Thanks for info!
Thanks Tonaci...great find, and just in time too!!!
Thanks for the information Tonaci :)
The only problem I would have with those, is that they look like real easy to snap off.
I hear ya on that Martin.
With the placement being under the lens, it seems like it is mounted in a spot that is pretty hard to get to, so unlikely (at least to me) that it can be accidentally hit to snap off.
Regardless, i recommend using the extension cable it comes with to get it away from being placed right next to the fan.
No prob Bob, Eli and Mavin! Glad i could help.
Perfect. But with the extension cord, you're left with just the lav clip to attach it to the camera... any clever rigging advice?
NEVERMIND. Just saw the price. You could rig this thing with titanium allen screws and it would still be worth it. Ordered!
