Thanks for posting that great explanation of the OpenCL support. I don't know how well this question can be answered, but will OpenCL performance be equal to CUDA performance on the same media and effects that are supported with both? Or if possible are we still better off with CUDA than OpenCL, given the option?

You'll always be comparing apples and oranges here, since you can't compare performance on the same hardware.

I'll just say that performance using OpenCL processing is good, and it should get better over time as we and our partners work on it. Just like CUDA.

Please go get 10.7.4 if you use OpenCL, it is much improved!

    Cheers

I tried 3 times to install CS6 Master suite on my Macbook pro (2011 4core/2,3Ghz) with no luck. ( I have CS5.5 Master suite on it installed). It just does not launch. I uninstalled, cleaned with CS6 cleaner, installed again, but it doesn´t work.
David, any ideas how I should install to get it work? Could not find any answers on Adobe FAQ.
    Thanks,
    Marc

Wasted two GTX 690 cards on CS6 to find out there is no support.

David McGavran or other Adobe guys, any sign of future support for these?

    Thanks
    Joe
