If anyone could please help

Here's my step process of how I'm putting exported clips from redcine into Avid. Please tell me what i'm doing wrong

1. Export r3d file from redcine as 24p 1080 DNxHD175 to Avid MediaFiles>MXF>1
2. I then import the ALE file
3. I tried using media tool to find clips
4. No clips show up
My project is saved as a 1080/24p project btw

2. I directly drag the AAF file to the big
3. Clip drags but media is offline

I need some help guys and I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I have a job coming up soon. I did it before, but now I don't know what's happening.

Did you export out of REDCINE X as MXF files or QuickTime? Just want to be sure but since you refer to ALE and AAF I'm going to guess MXF. Try the following. Create a folder 2 in the MXF folder, drag all the MXF into that. Launch Media Composer then import or drag and drop into the bin this file from within the 2 folder: msmMMOB.mdb

From there it should be directly connected to the media. You can then merge the ALE into those files for the additional metadata.
