I loved it man, especially where the glass door opens and distorts the shot whilst we see the nut case approaching in the background. Awesome work :)

Wow. Campus Movie Fest on a Scarlet. That's a bit of overkill against most of the people that do it. I did Campus Movie Fest years (I think) 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the competition's existence. Always on Mini-DV though (2005-2008).

I would hope your project got some sort of recognition or award. I got their 2nd ever "Life Time Achievement Award" (which means I may have peaked, professionally, at the age of 22) since I did fairly consistently well and interesting projects over the course of my 4 years in college. But of course, there were far less schools in the competition then, far less participants, and certainly no one shooting on HD, let alone something like Scarlet. I'm certain my projects would look a bit shabby in retrospect.

Great work. I loved the colour pallette - the browns and honey colours and degraded textures. It looked very filmic. I could have sworn it was shot on 35mm - so warm and organic looking. I'm also keen to hear about your lens choices.

Great work man. Some really pretty footage in there. Takes me back to my first two contest short films. Wish I could have worked on a Scarlet. HDV sucks but its all I had. I've been trying to convice my school to drop some cash on a Scarlet but no takers.

The first one sucks cause everyone had to shoot the same stupid script but the second one was much better I thought. Guys, post some of your student films if you have them.
