Acquire at the highest quality possible. Output what you need for today and know you are OK for tomorrow.

    Easy stuff to understand.

Well as Jim said, exactly what I do.

In fact, I'm eagerly awaiting DRAGON, so to be able to go and shoot 6k, especially so for me that I take LOTS of Frame Grabs for my Photography work from the EPIC, as I no longer use Photo Cameras to do my Still work.

At list till I get the EPIC 645... Then will be an other game to be played all together... ;)

I always finish my projects at 4K. Most of my project are for Youtube. Which supports 4K already. Kind of nice :p

This poll makes absolutely no sense. Most regional stations in the US request 720 x 480 deliveries on Beta SP. In 2012. Sure we shoot in 4K glory and archive for ourselves, but even the most demanding clients only want 1080p to archive. That leaves us with tonnes of 4k material shard drives which we incorporate in our billing anyway

Pretty much the same deal. The "extra" resolution really comes in handy for compositing and VFX work, but after that it's all 2K or 1080p for me.
