Crashing Cannes Film Festival 2012...any RedUsers going or EPIC films screening?

Hey Folks,

I am working on a film in south france and decided to crash the Cannes film festival for some marketing/networking fun...never been before and thought I would reach out to see if anyone here is going and has advice for 1st timers. I have already missed the registration period but I am
looking to find alternative ways to obtain a badge. If your going and have an extra, I would greatly appreciate it.

If there are any EPIC films screening I will be sure to report or drop a line if you know already.

Thinking of driving up in my little french Deux Cheveau...I like to arrive in style. ;)

hotels for the event are difficult at this stage.

I have a film shot with the Epic last june. I'm not sure I'll attend as I'll be shooting a feature in Paris.
Hope they will screen it with a 4K projector...

I was there in 00. Tip: Bring a tux!! Doing so will allow you to gate crash a lot of the events. Worked for us anyway!

Tux...Check. This is kind of the idea...still need a room but worse case scenario I got my 2CV, one day I will look back and cherish moments like these...when I am on the red carpet accepting my pomme d'or of course ;)

All kidding aside (sort of) I am might have found a badge not not 100% as of yet!
