We are sponsoring short films

We're looking for original short films about subjects close to geek or gaming culture (does not have to be directly about games! zombies, sci-fi, fantasy, game parodies, animation, etc.). If you have a creative idea and can produce, shoot and finish your film yourself or with your own crew, we will provide a budget and also make available our equipment for free (if you are in Southern California - we have Epics and Scarlets, lenses, grip and lighting/studio space).

This is all 4k content, shot on Red. 3-4 minutes run time (can be longer depending on project).

If we like your idea, we will provide $10,000 in funding for your short film. You retain ownership of your film and IP. For more details, please Cindi at submissions@epiclevel.com

I have a great short film script I optioned about a Vampire but it cannot be shot without a modest budget ($10k would probably do it). I also have a synopsis and script in progress on a found-footage vampire story. I own a RED, all the gear and have the crew. Does it matter that I'm not in California? I'm in Florida.

This is worldwide, not limited to the US. You just have to be able to get everything done yourself with the funding and shoot in 4k. Final result must be in English.
