In case you haven't participated in the beta or looked up the new cool things in CS6; this is a major update geared towards motion and still workflows across all packages. Especially noticeable in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and the addition of Speedgrade.

I don't need to underline the advantages of being able to edit, post VFX, master audio, color grade, and finish at 4k all in one production package.

But hey, it's 2012. Jetpacks and flying cars and all that.

Looks like the Cloud won't be available until Friday. I'm going to hold off until then. $30/mo. for the master collection is a sweet deal.

Looking forward to the upgrade, but I've got a few projects in 5.5 that need to get finished first. I never upgrade until all of my open projects are completed.

CS6 (Creative Suite 6) has been released. Creative Cloud is targeted for release this week.

If you want to use the Creative Cloud option, you can still download the trial versions of the CS6 applications now and activate them with the Creative Cloud Membership subscription later.

You can order CS6 Production Premium here: http://adobe.ly/CCProd ... or try it free for 30 days: http://adobe.ly/In5IR5

New to CS and don't have a heavy use now, but seems like the upgrade cloud at $29/month would be a good way to try it out. Couple questions:

For adobe guy or anyone that knows: (edit: I was writing when todd posted)
Can I use Lightroom 3 to upgrade to creative cloud?
    How about from Final cut?
Can I use on both laptop and tower with the single license?

    And for redusers:

Is there any downside to the cloud version - I understand all the main apps run locally, cloud part is just for install, upgrades, and some storage and services.
