Having Problems with my Scarlet. Did a test shoot today and found that even at 180 degree shutter at 24 frames (4k hd) using a canon 50mm 1.2. I filmed my friends band practice. and noticed that the look is not the same as film or that of what i would achieve on my 5d at 24 frames. it appears rather fast and sped up. could it be my laptops performance viewing the footage at 1/8th scale or am I missing something obvious?

If suspecting hardware .r3d playback issues, what I would recommend is rendering out a 1080p proxy and playing back the material. If it plays normal, it's likely your hardware having some sort of issue. If it doesn't it's either a bug or your settings were wacky.

I'm sure there are more possibilities, but this is a quick test to perform.
