So do you find this approach better than native tracking/stabilization in AE? I find the latter to be so hit and miss unless you have a good tracking point.
Warp Stabilizer in CS6 is awesome, we just stabilized a ton of footage from the bed of a pickup, worked like a dream with some tweaks to the settings, we ended up using:
Smooth Motion
10% Smooth
Perspective
Much faster than the old AE version.
Awesome feedback everyone! Like I said, I had a very short window of time to mess with it...I'm sure it could look much better. I wanted to show one extreme (very shaky) vs. another extreme (stationary). I plan on using this tool like others have mentioned to more or less smooth out handheld footage. Fun stuff.
