Linking to r3d files

I am reading the manual, but have not found what I am looking for...

I am sending an AAF from Avid... Into resolve.

A LOT of the clips are linking to the wrong R3D files and I am having to correct them by hand. Is there a way to add reel names to the R3Ds or have resolve link to the file name first then link by TC second ?

First, how did you bring the media into MC? AMA? Redcine-X export to MXF?

Have you got Resolve's Timeline Conform Options set to Assist using reel numbers from Embedding in source clip file? Otherwise you may find all R3Ds are assigned reel 001.
