    Hi Folks,

I have been trying to find a solution for the last couple of months. I know out there someone has an answer for me.
    So I keep trying.

Here is my question / problem.

1- I make my first color correction with Redcine, then save the rm.'s
2- Then I do my edit with Premiere. When finished export the edit as xml.
3- Import the xml to RedCine-X Pro again to do fine tunings according to the edit.
4- Do my fine tunings and save rm.'s again.

    Here is the problem.
When I open my existing edit in premiere my fine tuned color correction should be available, instead I still see
my first color correction. And I have to click on source settings and again click on reload from rmd for each clip.

I assume that Premiere is reading the first color correction from a cache file or something like that.

How can I reload all clips with the new fine tuned rmd's ? Any ideas..
I was expecting this situation to be solved with CS6 but still continues..

    Thanks,

I ran into a similar issue. I was doing preliminary color correcting in Redcine then importing the .R3Ds directly into the media browser in Premiere to start editing. I noticed that if I went back to Redcine to make color adjustments, they would not affect the same .R3Ds in Premiere. The only solution I found was re-importing the .R3D files that I made the color changes on into the Premiere media browser. Also replace the edited .R3Ds in the timeline with the updated version if you have already placed them there.

Do you mean I should delete all files in the bin and re-import. Will I loose my timeline. Sorry to ask because I am not in front of my workstation at the moment.

And I would real appreciate if I could receive an official answer from red or Adobe Team since I have been asking this question for the last couple of months.

Thanks Rogelio, you are the only person who responded me.

Hi Koray. Do not delete the files in your bin, because it will take them off of your timeline. Good thing is it will warn you before you do this. What I did was re-import the same .R3D file with the color updated and keep them both in the bin. Then I would just match the same in and out points and replace the old .R3D on the timeline with the .R3D with the color updated. Let me know how it works out for you.

Same here.....i think we need to put in a feature request....something like apply to All R3d's in sequence/timeline...but you then run into the problem of maybe you did not want to update all R3d's.....i've been there last week...only wanted to update certain R3d's....but i'm sure there's a solution there...apply to all in timeline or something...but don't see that either....i always try to then look at what could go wrong if a feature was added while also looking at benefit...before making any request...to provide more feedback for a solution.
good luck....i had to go through some 300clips my side.

Your method is even more time consuming then just clicking on source settings and reloding from rmd for each clip.

I'll have to try that, but if you are only doing my method for a few clips is doesn't take too long, but if you are doing it for most or all of you clips, it will take some time.

customize you keyboard commands to make this afastprocess

    - until adobe fix this. I know they've commented on it in the tutorial vids that are found on this form, but despite the issues we really need these two programs to work in unison. just like premiere and after effects.
