So, two 'uncharacterized' lenses that previously worked, now fail?

I'd had reports of another 'uncharacterized' older Sigma working quite well in the previous build, and it was reported that the new Tamrom 24-70 worked in the previous build, so ... hopefully RED can figure this out quickly.

Correct. I'll need to roll back the firmware as I need the 300mm for a shoot this week. When I'm back in tonight I'll test all my lenses again and post if anything is funky. Luckily a lot of that stuff "should" work.

Been testing it all morning, and loving it all morning. Other than some crashes here and there, the new features are very welcomed! Here is a 120fps test shot with an 85mm lens > http://vimeo.com/41893795 The 89fps mode is nice too and probably more useful, but I just wanted to see how 120 looked. Maybe as a split screen type of thing it could be useful, but otherwise it's very.....you'll see. Cropping into the sensor that far has it's pitfalls.

    What exactly is 1K?

1024 x 540? Very curious to how this will hold up for quick shots on the web!

Any lens that hasn't been programed in the firmware you are "lucky" if it works remember :)

FYI, for anyone test driving 3.2.8 or any build going forward...

Trent has started a HOW-TO thread on the camera's new enhanced preset capabilities:
    http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...th-build-3-2-x

It's a pretty powerful tool for customizing your EPIC or Scarlet.
