    We are currently testing a fix for this problem. If you get this error please go back to the release build for now (3.0.7) until we release a new beta version.

    Again, could someone of the RED team tell us if when upgrading to a newer version (like this one) we have to get the sidehandle off?
    I've done everything with it and everything worked fine but I'd like to know what's the right way.

    We recommend following the installation instructions found in the readme that is part of the firmware upgrade package. These instructions may change for a given release so it is a good idea to read and follow them each time.

    Trent,

    I did another shoot today and am consistently getting "cannot load clip" errors when entering play back mode on specific clips. I will be able to review all clips except the ones starting with the last clip that has the "cannont load clip" error. Should I send in a camera log file?

    Silly question but is the Beta version of 3.0.7 the same as the release version? I reverted to 3.0.7 because of issues with the latest build but it was still listed as Beta at the time. Now it has become the release version should I reload my cameras with that?

    Anyone?

    Sorry if this is redundant, but I wanted to get this answered explicitly: Does "external record mode" mean that there is no longer a black border around 1080p output via HDMI or HDSDI? Similarly, is 24Hz enabled on the HDMI out?

    I'm considering an ATOMOS Ninja, but only if it's ends up being full 1080p and doesn't require 2:3 pull-down to get from 60-to-24p. Otherwise I'd have to pay 2.5x for a PIX240.
