Glad it worked for you. Been there myself and finally figured it out. It should be in the manual, i dont think ot is though but I usually don't take time to read unless I'm on a air flight going somewhere.

A great use for the accelerometer etc would be to auto flip the image to the correct orientation when it's imported into RCX...

Same problem here. When I hit record I am told to contact Red support and forced to shut down. Bummer. Time to roll back.

    Hi,

I tried the force_upgrade procedure to 3.2.8 beta and it seemed to upgrade fine. However my force_preset to enable HDMI output with menus that support sent me for my Scarlet 3.0.0 no longer works. So I rolled back using force_upgrade to 3.0.7 release and the force_preset for HDMI w/ menus works fine. Do I need a new force_preset file? I only have a HDMI monitor and Side Handle.

You will need to get a new preset file for 3.2.x.

I tried the force_upgrade method, I still get the black and white bars at boot up (I have to unplug an plug the lcd back), then if I press record I get an error and have to shut down the camera.

Yesterday I installed the new beta firmware (3.2.8), and all seemed fine.

Today I was shooting and after 5 hours I got an error when i hit the record button, The error was followed with a shutdown-screen that said to contact Red Support. I tried many things including SYSTEM RESTORE (which did not immediately fix the problem). Eventually after 30 minutes of trying various things to regain operational status, it started to record again. Then 30 minutes later the same problem started to happen again. I only had the side-handle attached. I took that off, switched to AC adapter, swapped SSDs (which would format fine) but every time I pressed the RECORD button it would error out and need to shutdown.

I've submitted a bug report to Red Support, and am going to roll back to the latest production release.
We just upgraded to this as there were some features we would like to use but don't want any issues, How stable is this release fro Epic X and should we continue to use it ?

When I fire up Epic the LCD becomes white and stays like that. If I unplug the LCD and switch to the EFV and from there back to the LCD I get a picture as expected.

I'm surprised no one else asked about this feature yet, it must be really simple.

Could someone explain the new feature:

    * Added Post Record Fan Delay (max 1 minute)

    Thanks
