Thanks for the clarification. It is quite cool to start to use the new tools available when a computer captures the image and not a piece of film. Lots of new options for organization appear.

A filter to just show official RED comments would be nice. :)

I have installed the Epic firmware with no problem.
    And the RedMote firmware too.

But now the RedMote can't "see" the Epic.

I have tried "Rescan" several times, but it doesn't see any cameras.

Have you upgrade the Redmote firmware?

I had to re-pair my cam & redmote with the redmote attached to the cam. There is a reworked setup-dialogue now, and i think the default names of our cams have been changed from "default" to "Epic" and "Scarlet", thats why probably things are reset.

I had to 'Re-Pair' in the set-up dialogue box as well; but this update kept my camera name instead of re-setting it to default (as it did in the past) or to Scarlet.

Can't believe I get paid to do this.

In any thread where someone from the RED team has posted there's a RED TEAM button at the top of the page that takes you to the first post by someone at RED in the thread. And all posts by the team have a similar button in them that takes you to the next team member post in the thread.
