This is the first time I am working though in increased humid/hot locations...
Roy, if you haven't yet, can you please open a support ticket and send a log file in from the camera?

Absolutely Matthew, where should I send it? I am freaking out a bit, I am in Mexico now and I just shot a whole card that came back corrupt. I actually think it is the card which is causing the problems at this point as I had an unreadable file on it today... going to put the card aside for the time being...

    Thanks for the help.

Once open, someone from support will contact you and you'll be able to send your log in.

In addition, if you email me your log, I can take a quick look at it for you. But please send it through support as well.

Was there ever any solution figured out for this issues? Happened to me for the second time this morning. The frames are corrupt on the card. Even show the same artifacting in playback on the camera. Any chance of recovering these files, or at least preventing this from happening a third time?

For us - it was absolutely a bad transfer between harddrives. If you have the original footage, try retransferring to a different drive from the original cards.

Even on the cards it's having the issue. Even playing back from the cards in the Epic itself.

Run disc/utility repair on the red SSD before backing it up.

Same issue with our Scarlet, random LHS 1/3 of the frame is corrupt. It on the SSD, as recorded, it is not a transfer issue for us. It was not hot and has happened now on two separate shoots. It never happened before updating to the latest firmware 3.3. Our Epic does not seem to have this issue running the same firmware.

Similar problem, pretty sure its not an over heating problem as I was hanging out the side of a helicopter with about a 40 to 60mph wind and fan running at 65% all the time. Obviously this is not an aerial shot but this was the quickest clip with the same problem we experienced during the last shoot. And yes it is just as random as you have mentioned. I only have a few clips out of about 100 that will need to be fixed by AFX time warp, but at least its only a single frame for almost all clips with the problem and that range around 10 to 40 seconds long

Im using a MBP 17 i7 with 16gig ram and transferring through a esata via a express card... I still have the REDMags and Im about to try the 800fw cable to see if maybe that will help.Screen Shot 2012-07-25 at 3.32.19 AM.jpg
