Advice please what lens can be good for Epic for cinema making for arround 3-4K? Is it possible?
May be RED 18-50 for 2500 USD, or only RED 17-50 for 6K?

    think about Canon zooms.. 24-70mm and a 70-200mm f2.8

    Assuming Cannon mount...

I've seen some Angenieux 20-120 zooms go for around $4000 in the equipment for hire section. It's not going to be as sharp or distortion-free as a modern lens, but it's very versitile for the price and reasonably fast. If image quality is more important to you than proper cinema mechanics, then I'd go with Christopher's suggestion and look at Canon lenses.

You should be able to find a used RED 18-50 Zoom for under $4,000, maybe even one of the newer RED 17-50 RPZs if you have a motivated seller...
