I followed all the instructions on the White papper, except step one. So instead of using fcp as I used to, I ended up using redcinex to transcode to Prores.

Im now stuck not knowing the best way to reconform, fcp will not recognize the batch capture command since I used RedCinex.

Can someone point me to another workflow option to reconform and send to color?
If you could send me a link, article anything explaining the steps you would be saving me from my stupidity.

    A little desperate. Thanks

I'm not an expert on this part so someone can correct me. But I think you export an XML of your sequence out of FCP and open that up in REDCINEX to conform to R3D. Then you export a new XML from RCX to use in Color. I don't think you want to conform to your QT proxies.
Shoot for the Impossible...Then do it.

Thanks Jarek! tried that, also tried edls to redcine and color even tried the cinema tool way.
I think something might be wrong with the files nothing is working except doing it manually in FCP. Its fine for a 30sec trailer but for the music video with all the cuts its going to be painfull.

Heard something about Storm being a good option to re conform, as anyone tried it and if you recommend it can you point me to a resource on how to do it?

    Thanks
