Anyone using the Nvidia Maximus (Quadro 4000 and Tesla 2075) with CS6 ?I have heard from other sneak peek folks that it enhances playback in PrP and in AE raytrace mode things are supersonic (redraw and rendering).

Not here. But seriously tempted. Just can't find good info on it.
Maximus is just a marketing name for multi-GPU combinations and nVidia promotes multiple Quadro cards or the Tesla cards as secondary GPUs. In reality, it also works with GeForce cards. The Tesla C2075 is essentially a Quadro 6000 without the video ports, so just there for additional processing.
Anyway, yeah, the addition of a second GPU or Tesla card helps to speed up many of the display and FX operations in Premiere Pro. In AE it's only for the ray traced 3D render portion at the moment, which isn't much, but if you're making use of AE to place title or logo graphics that are rendered within, it really speeds up the process.
Quadro 4000 is a great all-around video card. It's not the most powerful at anything, but for most video and 2D tasks it's more than fine and it holds up well for pushing around polygons and other 3D tasks. Combine it with a heavy-hitting CUDA card like the Tesla 2075 (or a GTX580) and you're flying. The GeForce GTX580 is faster and more powerful than the Tesla or Quadro 6000, but it comes with a few "gotchas". First off, it has half the amount of RAM, does not support ECC memory, it's FP operations are handled at lower precision for OpenGL, OpenCL and CUDA and it's generally not as well supported (profiled) by most of the professional CUDA applications out there. I haven't run my tests with the GTX580 in CS6 yet, so I can't comment as to how well it really performs there. I will say though that it totally smokes everything else, even a Quadro 6000, in DaVinci Resolve.
Any news on this front?
I am building a 3d workstation, and kinda torn between a 690, quadro 5000 or 4000. Also trying to figure out if Maximus is worth it.
Any news?
I went to test mine, but have had to order an upgraded power supply for my Z800!!! The standard one doesn't cut the mustard as all the cards in my machine eat a lot of power!!! I'll let you know how i get on when it's up and running.
