Well, I seem to have run across a bit of an issue here that's causing me some headaches in post.

I'm running Resolve 8.2.1 Beta on my iMac (i7 Quad 3.4GHz), and I've had no issues with the previous betas or even this one until now. All of a sudden when I try to set my debayer quality to full res premium when I'm going to export all my CPUs peak at full before I can exit the config panel and resolve crashes on me.
I'm filing a support question with Blackmagic about it but I wanted to know if this has been an issue for anyone else? 1/2 Premium, 1/2 Good etc. all work fine.

    Thanks!

DaVinci is a bit weak when you run without the support from a GPU or a Rocket, be patient when you return to the Configuration tab to Color, let him breathe and render.

If it is a complex project, open a new database helps a bit. I run it in the same iMac i7 every day, it hurts but it works. With a magma and a GTX is more stable for sure.

    All the best.

The OpenCL support on the ATI cards is limited to HD only (due to limited memory OpenCL/ATI offers). When you are doing a full-res decode, you are at 4K which is not going to work on the ATI/OpenCL cards.

For 4K and higher resolutions, we recommend using NVIDIA CUDA cards.
