Thanks RED! I've been in Mexico for 5 weeks practically on a job and have 2 RCX's to go through, 3 firmwares to test/upgrade too, and thats just being away for one shoot. Seriously who else can say that. Can't wait to get home to play with RCX. You guys are the best.

Hi Tehben, yes, this is possible. You can set up an export preset that has "stills only" set (you can find that in the Frames tab). Then do a "Bin (all clips)" export. This will export only the stills from those clips. A similar mechanism exists for markers.

    Hey all,

Is there a PDF or online link to a list of REDCINE X hotkeys? Something I could stare at for an hour and internalize. Love the program, would like to learn to navigate it as quickly as other editing and grading environments though.

EDIT: I'm talking outside of the "Common Keystrokes" found in the operations guide, want to dig deeper into the under the hood shortcuts.

    All the best,
    Drew

This could be a stupid question, but is the export function in RCX-Pro supposed to only run in 32-bit mode on OSX? All my export logs start with "redexport [date] [time] Mac 32bit Public Release".

    Jaakko,

Not a stupid question ... QuickTime is 32 bit, and hence must be executed from a 32 bit process. We also feed Avid through this process, because until recently, it was also 32 bit. All other export types occur directly through RCX.

    Cheers!
