My recommendations for those who travel a lot, and are shooting in the mid-low budget realm.

    enjoy!

Interesting setup. By the way - Miller porta JIB is the one of the heaviest JIB Arm I ever used :) rock solid but feels like it mashined from the solid lead :) I'd rather look for something bit more "carbon-fiberish" :)

i hear you, but it's so damn smooth and packs so well. I'd go with heavy and smooth over light and breakable any day. I've had a couple other jibs, but none that travel this well with this quality. But CF jib? you may be on to something there. I'd pay a lot for that.

Trey, great video, thanks for taking time and making it!

What's the exact model of your Sachtler sticks? Is it ENG 2 CF HD?

Looks like the Sachtler Speedlock CF HD sticks - same load capacity as ENG 2 CF HD, and even faster to setup/adjust:

Great sticks, but I'd want a hard case if travelling by plane, which might negate the weight saving, as CF is not quite as tough as aluminium if it gets hit hard by baggage handlers.

Thanks for the informative video Trey - haven't seen the Westcott before, useful to see.
