Are there any examples of gunfire shot in the dark with epic?

I am worried about the split screen effect...

    Thanks

what frame rate you shooting at? I imagine the more you overcrank it the less tearing will be an issue, but you'd have to try messing around to find out. Same with adjusting the shutter speed...

Amazing Spider Man trailers have shots with practical gunfire.

    Enjoy

Sure, I know that...Its just that all of the real world uses 25fps....4x 25=100...Just like nobody in the scientific world uses miles, inches, ounces, AM/PM or gallons;-)

I remember some Mars mission where there was a small miscalculation.....

But joking aside...Examples or info please.....Will be testing if N/A...

If you are using real guns/blanks you may get split frames. If it's dramatic, non guns work great as does adding muzzle flash in post. With the range of raw, a good FX guy can bump up the exposure in a matte around the area of the flash to mimic the lighting change.
