I was asked where we are currently with videos for the SCARLET and EPIC online course. I was also asked if there will be any specific SCARLET online videos.
Let's take the 2nd question first:
The Scarlet and Epic cameras are more alike than they are different. In fact the only real differences are:
Resolution
Over cranking choices
Some compression levels
Minor body design
That's pretty much it, and even in those areas, Scarlet will do some of what Epic can do. So we don't think it's a good idea to split them into two different courses because it would just cost more. That's not cool. We train for both at the same time, and let you know when there are differences.
As for the videos. We currently have 25 videos online, and we're closing on 30. The RED101 had 33 total. Here's the amazing part: I think we're only HALF way there with the number of classes we'll have for the Scarlet and Epic. We add more every single week. Here's the list so far:
