They are pushing this hard leading up to the release since there are still a lot of nay-sayers..."Why is this already being remade?" blah blah blah...
This is going to kick ass. Very excited for the release.

To me, it looks like this film has absolutely nothing new to offer. I've seen all this stuff before, in dozens of other films, especially the other recent Sony Spiderman franchise.

Is it just me, or is YouTube getting slower and more laggy? Vimeo, Apple Trailers, all load with no problem. I just fought with YouTube for way to long to simple watch that in 1080p Full Screen...
Aside from that though, it looks AWESOME! I was a bit disappointed with the original franchise so I'm kind of glad that they're just starting from scratch. Definitely seeing the midnight IMAX 3D showing of this one.

I feel the same way. Although it was a bit premature to roll out a new set of spiderman films I was very disappointed with the tobey maguire films so looking forward to this. I think this one seems to stay truer to the comic books too.
