I think the easiest solution for side by side is to remove the side SSD module from the right eye and instead attach a rear SSD module (where the card pops out camera right).

Yeah, yeah, yeah.... don't jack my thread, guys. This is about flipping (and flopping) the displayed image in the monitor to accommodate upside-down camera mounts.

I was certainly hoping that with the latest build released that this would be solved by now. Can someone from the Red team chime in and at least let us know if it's in the works? Thanking you guys in advance for answer.

    Pawel,
Are you sure you need to use micro coax ribbon ( that's what it looked like you used ) for the cable ?
Maybe just overall jacket shielded ribbon would be OK. What are SATA cables made with ?
    I like the idea !

It's not micro coax cable. It is a special cable we designed and made after consulting with RED and doing internal testing. I think it is the most expensive cable ever made :)

I really don't understand why they haven't done this yet. It's a button on the c300. It's automatic on my transvideo. I can do it on my crappy teletest backup steadicam monitor. It would add huge functionality to the package. I wonder if the issue is they would have to remap all the touch screen crap? If that's the case, I'll take invert the picture only and leave all the menus upside down.

I agree. Whilst it is possible to flip the image on most monitors (in particular 3D monitors) I think at the very least there should be an option to flip the sensor scan (top to bottom and bottom to top) as there is no known workaround for this issue. (Remember: we have two separate issues: display and scanning). I can live (get by) with the display issue, but not with the scanning issue.

    Pawel,
If not micro coax type ribbon cable, then just regular ribbon, or twisted pair ribbon ?
It's only the SATA part of the cable that really needs the high speed care, I would assume.

Not to steal the thread. But I would like a flip flop mirror function for the bomb EVF also. As I find it would be much better to have it hanging upside down in a lot of setups.

So please flip flop for all screens please.
