Steadicam Monitors w/ RED?

Hi all,

I just recently got a Flyer LE and was wondering how to get the BNC (or composite) connection to work with the HD-SDI on the Scarlet? Is there any cheaper alternative than getting a Redbyte Decimator?

Isn't it just a matter of enabling SDI on the Scarlet? A colleague of mine has a Flyer LE and, as far as I can tell, that's all he did.
