For now, even if it is just the NEW Thinner better faster 4k 17" MBP, I'll take that, and sale both my Unibody 17" and my MBA 11" so I only carry one Portable every were.

a new comp release a few months before a new OS release seems to be a trend for apple now too. one can only hope it IS the tower. maybe if we are lucky, the tower and new mbp. although for my uses, the current gen one is beefy enough for now :)

They updated the site with Father's Day branding...

If they were going to release a new product it wouldn't be on the weekend. They usually release at the middle of the week i.e. Tuesday-Thursday. (I worked for Apple, I hold some water)
