    Karl,

R3D files are read only. Any metadata changes you make in RCX will save off an .RMD file containing all edited information. This happens automatically when you have auto save RMD enabled in the preferences. Also, unless you have specified an master RMD directory, the file gets saved side by side to the original R3D.

If you aren't able to save back to the original SSD, it could be because you have the SSD mounted read only. Check RED Watchdog, and remount the SSD read/write.

    Cheers,
    David

Hey David, what i want to do is preparing files for the editor in Premiere. So i want to tweak color and stuff in meta before he starts editing. My intent is to have a straight look already in the first ruff cut...without doing huge CC. My idea was using cine-x and save it back. Does Premiere also solve this meta transfer with RMD? If yes this would be all i wanted to know;)

Sorry for my English. Try to give my best...hehe

    Thanks
